Sorin Markov

As a Vampire planeswalker, Sorin Markov uses his blood magic to drain the life force of other beings, place curses on enemies, and even possess the minds of others. Sorin is a master of sangromancy, a dark corner of black mana specialization that uses blood to fuel magic. Other than Nicol Bolas, one of the Elder Dragons, Sorin is the oldest living planeswalker in the multiverse being over several millennia old. His life has been dedicated to following his every whim providing him an easy life full of pleasures.  This life of leisure has given Sorin an air of confidence and easy detachment. Having lived for so many years Sorin has seen thousands of planes, and has developed a taste for novelties and new diversions, a bon vivant of sorts. Despite his hedonistic nature he does feel the need to attend some more pressing concerns, like the Eldrazi attack that he thwarted by teaming up with to other planeswalkers to imprison the aether-born monstrosities. His regard to defend his way of life has resulted in a busy arcane schedule. He often attends engagements and forays in far-flung planes pursuing concerns known only to him. The few who have met him say he seems as if he always has somewhere more important to be.

    Katerina Petrova is a cunning and manipulative woman who only cares about saving her own skin, even if it meant harming others along the way.  She has been this way ever since she met Prince Klaus in 1492. When she learnt that she was going to be used for a sacrifice, Katerina Petrova ran for her life. She became a vampire shortly after running away because she knew that she would be worthless to Klaus.  

   She spent 500 years running away from this same man because he was going to use her as a sacrifice for a curse that was place upon him. He needed a doppelganger to break the curse.  Katerina Petrova has the unfortunate status of being a doppelganger of the Petrova bloodline. She was the first doppelganger and therefore very valuable. It would take one of Klaus’s guardsmen falling in love with her and turning her for her to become invaluable. Her attempts to run away in the end would be futile but not before she made lots of bonds and enemies along the way.

   Katerina ran off to America and changed her name to Katherine Pierce. In 1864, she pretended to be an orphan of the Atlanta Campaign and was taken in by the Salvatores. She fell in love with both Stefan and Damon, though one was real and one was lust. She planned to turn them both and have all three of them live happily ever after. That never happened because she was poisoned with the vervain that Stefan’s father had put in his tea. She was dragged away to be burned in a church with 27 other vampires. Katerina managed to escape the tomb by bribing the mayor, a werewolf, with a moonstone that would give him the ability to not have to change.

   Katherine spent the rest of her years avoiding Klaus. She was spotted in 1963 at a Chicago fair by a younger vampire whose mother had been friends with Katherine. Katherine later returned to the Salvatores and their home in Mystic Falls to retrieve the moonstone so Klaus couldn’t find it.

   She pretends to be good and help the next Petrova doppelganger, Elena, survive Klaus by being on Team Salvatore. Katherine really goes and crosses them with Elena’s birth mother Isobel, but Isobel double crosses Katherine to protect Elena. Katherine finally gets caught by Klaus and is currently being forced to make up for the 500 years of pain Klaus went through for loosing his opportunity to break his curse.

   Katerina Petrova (Katherine Pierce) only has her own best intentions at heart. She appears very sweet and seductive on the surface, but her personality could change in an instant into someone who is impulsive and, at times, not very friendly.  

Blacula- Stephen Williams

Blacula:

A rare vampire of African descent, once the proud Prince Mamuwalde who sought out the help of Dracula to suppress slave trade in his country but was instead betrayed. Imprisoned alongside his wife in a sealed coffin for one hundred and ninety years, his wife died within days he was left with nothing. These circumstances led Mamuwalde to go crazy until his release in 1972. Upon his release blacula went on a complete rampage, killing and transforming everyone he could get his hands on until he found a woman who he believes is his wife reincarnated. His only purpose at that time is to transform her into a vampire and live with her forever. But Things do not turn out that well for Blacula, and he is left all alone yet again.

Blacula wanders the earth preying on innocent individuals; he has been hunted by some of the most professional vampire hunters but to no avail. His only known weakness, contrary to the popular belief of it being fried chicken, is, in fact, women who resemble his deceased wife. On one hunting occasion a woman was used as bait, it seemed as if it was going to work until Blacula got closer. Realizing the woman was not his wife, He proceeded to kill her. He is known to lurk around downtown Harlem, this is also were most of his dead victims have been found.

Blacula stands at a towering six feet five inches and weighs close to two hundred and fifty pounds. Features that make Blacula unique are his big bushy sideburns and his tendency to wear a black cape with red silk lining. His fangs are extremely long and easily noticeable; his piercing, bloodshot red eyes freeze his victims in complete terror. He is currently being hunted in the north western region by Jefferson Twilight. Blacula is extremely dangerous, authorities should be contacted upon sighting the creature. Do not, I repeat do not try to engage blacula, we still do not completely know what we are dealing with. 

Lara Wraith - Matthew King

Hot, sensual, primal, angelic, porn star, and sexual are a few of the words that began to describe Lara Raith. The oldest daughter of Lord Raith and the leader for the white court of vampires Lara has a secured place of power. She is very tall with glossy dark hair that’s so dark the highlights appear blue. Described as one of the most dangerous of the white court, she is a master manipulator, seductress, and conspirator of no equal. For example, her father still appears as the head of the white court but Lara is the one who controls the empire. One thing that is true for Lara her word is always honest. If offered safe passage by her she means it.

            One main difference between white court vampires and the majority of other vampires is that they feed on psychic energy also known as sex.  Lara shows amazing power in this aspect. It has been said that she could seduce the pope himself. Not being like other vampires Lara has the ability to go out in sunlight even though she may hate it and appears mostly human. Despite her appearance, Lara is a very capable combatant showing a great expertise with her own custom made kukris and a vast knowledge of military weaponry. She has also been known to enlist the help of one wizard and private investigator Harry Dresden. Never known to scant on details, Lara’s estate is guarded by top of the line ex military and mercenaries. One can never be too careful when one has this much power. 

            Not much is known about her personal life. She was briefly married to the porn king Romany and even starred in a few of his feature films. They eventually divorced when Lara saw the opportunity to seize control from her father and take over the white court of vampires. Since this secret power change Lara has removed any threat to her father’s throne and to her family. Ambitious and always power hunger, Lara has not stopped looking for ways to increase her own power and the power of the white court. During a meeting between the houses of the white court, Lara used her influence to kill all the leaders of the houses and replaced them with people who were less ambitious. Currently Lara is pushing for a treaty between the white council of wizards and the red court of vampires. 

The Dementor

One of the most intimidating and evil forces ever known to exist is known as the Dementor. The Dementors claim to fame is being the creatures in charge of guarding the wizard prison, Azkaban, in the Harry Potter series. These are some of the deadliest and most feared creatures in the Harry Potter series. The Dementors feed off happiness, so everyone they come in contact with permanently resides in a state of depression and anguish. The Dementors are loyal only to themselves, and the only chance one has of having the Dementors on their side is to promise them and give them plenty of souls to feed on. The Dementor has a human-like shape and is around 10 feet tall. They wear dark cloak-like clothes that are usually torn and shredded. Their skin, grey and decayed, repulses those near it and their faces are devoid pits with only a hole for a mouth. This rotting pit is used for the Dementor’s most powerful and deadly attack, called the Dementor’s Kiss. The Dementor’s Kiss was used in Azkaban for the criminals that were considered to be on death row. The “Kiss” was when they would bring you in and the Dementor, or Dementors, would begin to slowly suck out your soul. It was a long and excruciating process that left the person in a torturous state, where their body was still active and they could still feel, but had no soul. This was considered worse than death, and many would beg for death long before the Dementor’s Kiss was over with. Since the Dementors have no eyes, they sense and feel off positive emotion of humans and make their victims relive their most painful memories over and over again. A Dementor’s presence is often associated with coldness and a feeling of hopelessness. When the Dementors swarm the train when Harry is on the train to Hogwarts, the windows get icy and everyone can see their breath. Also, many people on the train were screaming and Harry continued to relive the memory of his parents dying.  The Dementors ability to suck the happiness and souls from people, along with the way they suck the warmth from a room, are all very vampiric properties. This soul sucking creature feeds off all things that are good and floods you with all of your worst nightmares.

Vladimir: The Crimson Reaper

           Vladimir’s killer instincts and bloodthirsty cravings stem from his harsh life in the mountains between Noxus and the Tempest Flats. He satisfies his thirst for blood by competing in the League of Legends and doing battle on Summoner’s Rift. His perfectly groomed hair, extravagant attire, and manicured fingernails give him an appearance of nobility, but do not be fooled. Vladimir is feared because of the incredible strength he possesses while wielding the fabled Rylai’s Crystal Scepter and wearing the ancient Rabadon’s Deathcap. He has honed his abilities to control and manipulate the blood of his enemies and himself. He possesses the abilities to transfuse the blood of his enemies in an instant to heal himself and summon forth tides of blood to strike enemies surrounding him. Through years of training he has also gained the ability to transform his entire body into a Sanguine pool and move across the ground stealing the blood from anything he touches. He even possesses the ability to infect the blood of his enemies, weakening them and making them more susceptible to attacks; this powerful Hemoplauge is his ultimate ability, and his enemies should take care to avoid it at all cost.

            He has not always been such a dangerous and cunning fighter. In his youth he could not control his murderous desires to see the blood torn from the bodies of his victim, and after brutally massacring two teenage boys he realized he could no longer stay in Noxus and risk his crimes catching up with him. This was when he met the monk Dmitri, who was very skilled in the manipulation of the fluid of life. Dmitri trained Vladimir to become a Hemomancer. Vladimir’s final test would result in death if he failed, but he did not. Vladimir succeeded in draining the blood from Dmitri and fusing their powers together inside himself. Only after the training he received from Dmitri was Vladimir able to control his desires, but they still stirred deep within him. This was the reason he joined the league. He claimed it was to fight for his homeland Noxus, but eventually he admitted he joined the league to kill.

            Although not a conventional vampire, Vladimir’s insatiable desire for blood makes him incredibly dangerous. His appearance might give an impression of sophistication, but angering this Crimson Reaper would be the last mistake you ever made.


Michael Davis

             Blade, is a unique creature in many regards, some would call him a savior, others conceder him an evil beyond all other evils.  Blade was conceived by two humans, at 8 months pregnant his mother was attacked by a vampire and was left in the street to die. Doctors at the hospital his mother was taken to were able to save thebaby, but not the mother and not before some of the vampiric change began to happen. 

Blade has the strength, speed and healing abilities of a vampire, but is not affected by sun silver or Ultraviolet light. It is said that he has the best traits of a vampire with none of the flaws.  There is one trait that Blade did acquire from the change that fuels his rage against all vampires, the thirst of blood.  When blade was young he was met by a vampire slayer named Whistler, who almost killed blade until he realized what he was.  Whistler took in the young half-vampire and developed a serum that nullified the craving for blood that haunted Blade.  One of a kind, he is the only know half-vampire sworn to exterminate all vampires so that no one else would have to go through the life that he is now living. 

               Blade is one of the most feared names among the vampire community.  No vampire is ignorant to the enraged half-vampire that is slowly exterminating their entire species.  Most vampires however, are ignorant to where Blade is at any given moment.  Blade has been known for most of his devastation in the Los Angeles area, but he has been spotted around the world.  His cause has brought him to New York, Russia, and European countries.  Many vampires have mocked Blade and those bold enough to have done so in the presents of the beast have paid with their
lives.

                Starting in the 1970’s, a Puerto Rican legend started, El Vampiro de Moca.  El Vampiro de Moca is a livestock-killing vampire in the small town of Moca.  This Puerto Rican legend has become the basis of a more recent legend, El Chupacabra.  The legend of El Chupacabra began when goats and chickens were being found dead.  Okay, so what?  Many of these animals die every day for human consumption.  So what’s the big deal?   Well the main factor is that these animals that have been found drained of blood with small puncture wounds on their necks but no other physical harm.  

                The term El Chupacabra literally means “Goat Sucker” in the Spanish language.  The “Goat Sucker” originated from the little town of Moca, in Puerto Rico and spread quickly to Mexico, Chile, Brazil and later into the United States: Texas, Florida, Maine, Michigan, and Oregon.  Also, the news of this livestock vampire spread worldwide via the internet and into our imaginations.

                El Chupacabra is a very elusive creature.  There have been so called “sightings” of this beast but there are no records of an El Chupacabra.  The legend has many different descriptions.  Some say it appears similar to an archetypical alien with large eyes, fangs, a forked tongue and a row of sharp quills that run down its spine.  Others say that it looks more like a giant, vicious kangaroo or disfigured coyote.  But the most common description is a gray, lizard-like creature that stands three      to four feet tall and walks upright on its very muscular hind legs. 

                 Great, we might be sharing the world with a vampire lizard, kangaroo, coyote, or alien that sucks the blood of goats and chickens. Even though there has not been a report of this creature sucking the blood of humans, but how do we know for certain?

Van Helsing

Van Helsing is a world renowned name associated with vampires, specifically vampire hunting. Originally, Van Helsing did not seek to murder vampires, but his profession led him to eventually kill certain vampires. He studied and practiced medicine, but also explored the supernatural lifeforms of Earth.
Due to Van Helsing's extensive knowledge of the supernatural and of medicine, he was asked to examine victims of strange attacks: where the dead victims would have no blood, live victims would feel drained, and both types of victims owning the two strange marks on their necks. The doctor knew this was the evil-doing of a vampire and was prepared to eliminate the vampire and save what victims were alive.
Dracula and Van Helsing met in a fateful encounter, in which Dracula unwittingly divulged signs of a vampire. Van Helsing immediately spotted the signs  and confronted the vampire. In their one versus one dispute, Dracula attempted to gain control of Van Helsing through vampire mind tricks. Van Helsing's strong will enabled him to sustain his own state of mind, a feat very few people have accomplished. As the vampire started to retreat, he compared Van Helsing's knowledge to that of a vampire. The battle between Dracula and the humans had begun.
As night fell, Van Helsing prepared his base with vampire wards. Despite the doctor's efforts, the loyalty of Dracula's victim shone through and let the vampire in. Dracula knew he could not face Van Helsing because day was about to break. Dracula took his victim and fled to his coffin filled with the soil of his land. Van Helsing, with the aid of others, tried to follow Dracula, but lost the trail. Just as they lost the trail, one of Dracula's ghouls stupidly revealed the location of Dracula's hideout. Van Helsing entered and found the coffin of Dracula. Sound asleep, Van Helsing opened the coffin and drove a stake through the heart of the vampire.
Dracula was finally dead and all of his still living victims were returned to their human state. Based off of Van Helsing's actions, he was very familiar with vampires and their weaknesses. Dracula does not seem to be Van Helsing's first experience with a vampire. With this in mind, Dracula may or may not have been Van Helsing's first vampire kill; and Dracula might not be Van Helsing's last vampire kill either.

            The cool blue light poured through his UV protected window panes. Knowing that the sun has set upon another day of survival allows for a slight wave of relief to wash over him. Nothing says “living” to Josef Kostan like feasting on fresh human blood in the moonlight. Too bad his best friend Mick St. John, private investigator, would not join him. Mick was too focused on his work to truly enjoy his purchased “non-fat soy vegan blood.” Josef was disgusted by the stuff.

            Josef Kostan, founder of Kostan Industries and acting CEO, was born in 1599 making him over 400 years old. He currently lives in Los Angeles helping Mick solve cases. Josef spares no expense on the things he desires. Not greedy or selfish, he is always willing to share his food. He acts like an eternal bachelor, spending money on Armani suits and refreshing women, but he has a softer side to him and her name is Sarah Whitley. They met in 1954 while living in NYC. It was love at first sight when their eyes met at Grand Central Station. Sarah and Josef wanted to be together forever and she asked to be turned. However, not all stories end happily. Something happened to Sarah in between life and death. The transformation was never completed and Sarah slipped into a coma. She currently resides in a private nursing home, financed by Josef, where she can be taken care of. Josef keeps his silent hope alive for a cure so he can be with her.

            To keep himself occupied, Josef had affairs with many women, human and vampire alike. One in particular stood out to him. Her name was Lola. She, too, was over 400 years old and with her age came a devious personality that had Josef wrapped around her fangs. For over 100 years they had an on-again off-again relationship. It ended tragically when Lola stole over one million dollars from Josef to fund her drug operation, which turned out to be selling vampire blood to humans. Mick was forced to step in and take care of the situation. Lola’s 400 years were cut short.

            Josef Kostan is a bright man with an eternity of success ahead of him. After over four centuries of living, the only thing that could cause his downfall is his collection of enemies that he was forced to surpass in order to achieve his current success.

The oldest living resident of Bon Temps, Louisiana has returned to stay. William Erasmus Compton has come back to his roots in order to settle down for the rest of his “life”. William, or Bill as he is commonly known, was born in the town of Bon Temps on April 9, 1840. Marrying young, as was the custom of this time, he had a wife with three children before the Civil War reached Louisiana. Being a true Southern gentleman, Bill left his family in order to fight for the South in the War of Northern Aggression.

Shortly after the war, on his journey home, he encountered Lorena, a seemingly normal woman, on November 20, 1868. She provided him with assistance so that he may complete his journey back to his family. Unbeknownst to Bill, Lorena had a darker motive and before the night was over she had begun to turn him into a vampire.

The process of becoming a vampire takes several days including draining mass blood, replacing with some of the makers, then burying the victim until their heart stops beating, which is when they awaken as a vampire.

Because he was turned into a vampire he was unable to return to his family from what he was told, which led them to think he was dead. After much wandering with Lorena, he finally left her in the 1920s because he was tired of her cruelty and truly evil ways.

Falling off the map for many years, he resurfaced in the 21^st century after re-inhabiting his old family’s house in Bon Temps. This being after Trueblood was created, and the vampires existence being public knowledge. Allowing the residents to know what he really was; he became almost the Charlie Sheen of the town, being popular but feared at the same time.

He becomes accepted after befriending Sookie Stackhouse, a local waitress at the town bar, Merlotte’s. Most things get easier for Bill, however he is constantly under fire from people trying to steal his blood, or kill him permanently.

After several months of being in the public eye, Lorena discovers Bill and tries to bring him back, however there is more than meets the eye, as she is working for Russell, the King of Mississippi. This causes many issues for everyone, especially Sookie who is trying to rescue Bill.

Janus Hassildor

             There lives a being who lives out in the open, yet lives in shadows at the same time. There is no duplicate of this creature, Janus Hassildor. He has many unknown enemies, yet it is stated by many observers that the sun will always be his greatest threat. His food is of substance to which we live of, red as the fierce eyes he possesses. After his rest during the time we normally thrive, he moves. He is one who has been said to enjoy his evenings.

            To be hidden from the sun, eternally handicapped is his fate. Despite being so, Janus has obtained a position of great power: Count of Skingrad, no less. Peace reigns underneath him and Janus is one to be prideful of his city, to defend it without mercy and with an undying passion. His nobility has no origin, only a grasp over Skingrad.

            Janus Hassildor is not a beast like others, but the motivation behind him signifies that of a gentle creature. His human nature shows through that of his care of his wife. Afflicted with the same cure, she drove herself into a coma by her refusal: to deny her unending fate into the depths of indulgence and death of others. Janus has his servants covertly finding a cure. He places trust correctly on those who will serve him well.

            His trust is not easily betrayed. One simple act of betrayal and one might consider themselves forsaken by God himself. Janus attracts many rumors, but never with any hatred. He is said to be very crowd shy, reclusive, but a very powerful sorcerer. He is a man among beasts, s those who are afflicted like him, but his brethren are unwelcomed, shunned, despised. They attract suspicion and Janus is cunning enough to avoid exposure to harboring or allowing vampires anywhere near him. Tread carefully, as he has more underlying webs of hears and eyes outstretched from his high throne.
