Lestat de Lioncourt

A dark night marks November 7th in 1760, for that is the day Lestat came into the world. He was the seventh son in an aristocratic family that managed to squander their wealth and and lived in ironic poverty inside their castle. Growing up he never got a long with the males in his family. Lestat became an excellent hunter and helped protect his town against a pack of wolves for which he is awarded with a red velvet cloak and boots made from the pelts of the wolves he butchers. His heroics however did not translate to happiness and in his depression the relationship with his brothers worsened. One night after his hunt he told his mother "I dream sometimes that I might kill them all. I kill my father and my brothers in the dream. I go from room to room slaughtering them as I did the wolves." [sic]
leaving his home in Auvergne with his lover Nicolas in hopes of becoming an actor in Paris where he attracted Magnus, and old and powerful vampire who captures and transforms Lestat into the beast he is now. Soon afterward Magnus killed himself leaving Lestat to learn on his own what he became. This allowed him to shed all moral grounds against killing other humans he may have had left in order to survive. He would eventually take on a new partner to replace his human love Nicolas who could not coexist with the monstrous Lestat. A vampire that Lestat himself created named Louis de pointe du lac. They traveled together for almost a century before parting ways in an violent manner marked by fire.
Spending a century recovering from the burn of flame and lost love his narcissism he is so well known for returned and his power grew. His persuasive nature led him to the head of a very successful rock band in the 1980's entitled “The Vampire Lestat” which he used to lure women into his chambers to feed.

Stakes do not kill him, crosses do not frighten him. He is a powerful, egotistical, creature of the night whom will hunt with out regret. If you encounter this undead monstrosity, do not run, and do not fight. Your only hope is to beg, and if your lucky he might spare your life by turning you into a vampire as well. But not before giving you the choice. The choice he never had.

Kain

As the last of the surviving vampires in the dying land of Nosgoth, Kain strides the line between ruthless villain and tragic hero. His life as a scion of a noble human line lies forgotten. Having used the power of sorcery to assassinate the tyrant who dared to call himself Nemesis, before his rise to power, Kain warped history itself, initiating the Purge, which would claim every vampire save himself, and shatter the very pillars upon which Nosgoth stood. Bearing the cursed blade Soul Reaver, Kain sought out and slew the conspirators who manipulated him, dueling the incarnation of Death himself to purify Nosgoth. The parting words of Death made Kain aware that only his own demise can ever right the last remaining pillar holding the tenuous weight of the world from the brink of annihilation.
Thrice has Kain faced Raziel, the slayer, each time locked in battle with the Soul Reaver, ripped from separate times, to meet in mortal battle.  Each time Kain survived, whether victorious, or in the last case, spared at the cost of Raziel’s life. Each time wrought low by his wounds gaining power by consuming the very hearts of his vampire kin during the time of the purge, accelerating the demise of his own kind, in order that he may survive. He spills the blood of vampire, human and demigod alike, reaping a bloody swath across the land, all in a fight to restore time to its rightful state.
It was Kain who discovered that the force of the Soul Reaver, clashing upon itself in disparate times was the catalyst to allow the destruction of prophecy and the rewriting of history. Raziel and Kain in fact wielding the Soul Reavers, being the sole entities who had experienced the cosmic shear that resulted in the creation of a parallel timeline. In this alternate realm Kain was forced to relive the sins of his past, while he struggled to mitigate the destruction he had wrought upon the world. In the end Kain yet lives, secretly lording over humans as a powerful immortal, yet tormented by the world of his own making.<356>

Hazuki (Luna)

Hazuki was mysteriously locked away as a child in a castle in Germany by her parents.  They instilled an alternate personality in her by the name of Luna.  Luna is used to keep her under control, a trance state of hypnosis of sorts.  Hazuki herself is very free spirited, childish mainly.  She tends to get whatever she wants even if it means endangering her own life.  Her guardian at the castle usually keeps her in check though.  That is, until she spots a young photographer taking pictures of the castle from a distant cliff.  She wants to use him as a means of escape to find her mother.  As per usual, she gets what she wants and after an intense fight, the guardian is subdued by Kyouhei, the photographer, shattering the binding crystal of the castle.
She becomes more of a handful and a burden on Kyouhei as she follows him, unannounced, back to his house in Japan.  Eventually, and unwillingly at first, he gets dragged into protecting her.  Over time he begins to get used to, and even likes, having her around.
Through some unforeseen and rather unusual events, she finds out her various powers.  The first and main focus is the “Vampire’s Kiss”.  It means that whenever she draws blood from a mortal, that human becomes her eternal slave.  This is, except for Kyouhei for he is the “Vampire’s Lover” which means he is immune to the “Vampire’s Kiss” from any vampire.  Secondly, and the main reason for her imprisonment in the castle, she is a day walker.  Day walkers are very rare in this mythology yet other vampires can gain the power of a vampire if they drink the blood of that vampire.  In other words, every vampire has different powers but can steal the power of another vampire by drinking their blood.  This meant that Hazuki was in grave danger as every vampire wants the ability to nullify the effects of the sun.
She gains her power through the fullness of the moon.  The closer it is, the stronger she grows.  During a full moon, she has an uncontrollable urge to feed.  Kyouhei, her sworn protector and ‘supposed to be’ slave, allows her to use his blood in moderation during these times.  This brings them closer together and eventually they form strong bond and relationship.  He even underwent intense spiritual training in order to protect her.

Strauss Akabara

The last King of the Night and the youngest was Akabara Strauss, the red rose king. He became king at the age of 200 due to his perfect military record and strong political ties. His queen, Adelheid, at the time thought to have little magic. It should be noted that he did have a concubine before this but by the time of coordination she had been brutally murdered. It was said that if he ever found who her killer was they would be the target of his wrath. By this time Bridget Irving Frostheart Strauss's adopted dhampire daughter was his lead general.
In the years following his marriage talks of peace had budded between the humans and the vampires. During these talks in order to alleviate the humans that vampires had no power during the day. So Strauss put his hand into sunlight and nothing happened. In order to prevent new wars the council ordered Strauss's execution which he accepted. His wife Adelheid after hearing this went into a rage unleashing almost total destruction of the Night Kingdom with her latent power.
She was sealed to contain her power in thousands of crosses that Strauss spends the next thousand years of his life finding and destroying.
His wondering caused both the humans and the remaining dhampire to see him as a common threat, fearing the queen's return. This gave his daughter Bridget time to take control of the situation. She over the next thousand years chased after her father trying to prevent him from awakening Adelheid with the help of the Black Swan. It was not previously known that the Black Swan, created by Saberhagen, a human weapon make to kill Strauss and Adelheid was made from his concubine and unborn child. This weapon would posses girls until the destruction of its targets.
A thousand years later when earth threaten by invasion of an alien force did it became known that Strauss was evading capture to hold the dhampire community together and to prevent war with humans. He also divulged the truth about vampires, that they originally were extraterrestrials explaining that he can fly in space. It is mourned by those who fought him that he brings back Adelheid for the purpose of defeating this threat and to start terraforming the moon the latter of which kills her. He shortly there after died by the hands of the Black Swan releasing her form her charge.

Bonnie Bennett, Most Powerful Witch of All Time

Busting vampire blood vessels over and over again until they die, Bonnie Bennett person only uses her mind to destroy her enemies.  She hesitates not to ignite them in attempts to protect the ones she love.  Drawing energy from all of the elements around her and others that share her gifts, past and present, Bonnie seals people, both alive and dead, in rooms and tombs.  She throws those who cross her path by controlling the weather and the motions of nature.  Even though she knows and shows her limitations without even meaning to, this female never-the-less wields her powers to the fullest, sacrificing herself to save everyone else.
Bonnie Bennett is an 18 year old witch from the show, Vampire Diaries, who is a descendent of a long line of Bennett witches, the most powerful witches in history.  She was unaware of her true nature until one day she started a fire with her mind.  Not knowing what was truly happening, but remembering her Grams telling her stories of these sort of events, that is who she turned to.  Bonnie Bennett, along with Grams, unsealed an ancient tomb, which released 25 vampires that were sealed.  This took a toll on Grams and she passed away. From that day on, Bonnie Bennett swore to herself that she would never again befriend a vampire, and would terminate any type creature that crossed her path.
Bonnie continued on her promise to herself for a few months, but it soon ended when she heard that her best friend Elena was in danger of being sacrificed.  Elena was a dopple-ganger, a double of the original sealer of the sun curse, and the key to breaking it.  Reluctant to team up with vampires, Elena’s boyfriend and his brother, Damon and Stefen Salvatore, she felt as though she had no choice.  They were all after the same goal, saving Elena.  From that point on, Bonnie became a vampire hunter, killing any evil night-walking being that entered the town of Mystic Falls to capture Elena. And, even though Bonnie was teamed up with two of her mortal enemies, she still let them know that if they did decide to double cross her, she would not hesitate to splatter them everywhere and burn the remains.  “I will not let you or anyone else hurt the ones I love, even if you act like you are on my side.”

Nabeshima, The Forest Stalking Japanese Hell Cat

If ever you wander through the woods of Japan’s mountains, always be sure to be aware of what is around you. For there are devils in the forest and some take the form of a large, black spotted, twin tailed cat. Should the foul creature spots you as prey as you head home, it could very well spell the end of any intrepid traveler unfortunate enough to cross its path.
Silent as can be, the demonic cat follows you in. Patiently it lurks in the shadows of your room. Best to wish that one does not see its yellow eyes glaring at you, for by then it is too late. The giant beast leaps to your throat, tearing and biting in order to suck the very life straight from the veins. No one can say for sure, but it is said that the demon known only as “Nabeshima,” named such for the Samurai clan it once stalked, purrs in delight during the feast, with both tails striking back and forth.
As silent as can be, the beast disposes of your body. Like magic, it can take your form perfectly. Patiently, it lurks under everyone’s nose, waiting to drain its next victim. How numb they must be, to not see the sudden onset of drowsiness or the horrible nightmares that plague their induced sleep when next to the fiendish feline’s facsimile of flesh. It revels in the weakness its deception causes. On this goes, night after night, until the cat has devoured the life blood of who ever its eyes are set on. Surely there is no one that can stand against it….
Unless you are of strong resolve, willing to do anything, even bodily harm, to keep awake. For the only way to make the beast flee is to catch it as it lies to feed or torment; lure it near and then strike with your blade! Just as the valiant Soda Ido defended the clan’s leader from certain death when no other guard could stand the demon’s sleeping spell. Nabeshima, as its tricks do suggest, is a cowardly creature and will soon flee with flair of gruesome grace. But do not let your guard down, for if it finds no one else it will probably come back once again.

“The Mother of Vampirism”

Who is more qualified for this assignment other than the mother of vampirism? You may ask yourself, wasn’t Dracula the beginning of it all, wasn’t he the first vampire, wasn’t he the first one to haunt our nightmares? But the truth is, this nightmare began long before generation of Dracula. In fact, the mother herself was believed to be one of the first human beings to walk this Earth. In case there is any doubt in your mind about whom I am referring to, next time you have nothing to do open up the nearest Bible and look up the Mother of all Vampirism, Lilith.
Who is Lilith? Where did she come from? Why do we not know much about her? Where did she go? These are all questions that have raised much controversy in the vampire world but she is undoubtedly the one who started it all. As the bible goes, Lilith was the first wife of Adam. Unlike Eve, she was not made as a part of Adam; she was created separate and equal. The story continues on as she flees from Adam because she did not want to be treated unjustly and unequally. She was allowed to stay on Earth but as the Mother of all Demons. She goes on eventually to find Cain, the first born son of Adam and Eve. He was exiled from his parents land because in a jealous rage, he killed his brother Abel. We know him now as the first man to murder in the bible and on Earth and is later on mentioned as “the prototype of a wicked man”.
Lilith uses Cain to produce multiple demons and vampires and will soon reign over the Legions of Evil. Even in the bible Cain is known to have legitimate children, but the mother of these children has remained anonymous. As the Mother of all Demons, Lilith is said to have fed on the blood of her own children which in time will cause this monstrous plague to spread. She breeds a new species of blood feeders, or Vampires.
“There are those whose teeth are swords, whose fangs are knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, the needy from among mankind.” -Proverbs 30:14
